IV Certified Pharmacy Technician in Waltham, MA

An urgent opening is available for an experienced IV Certified Pharmacy Technician specializing in infusion and chemotherapy preparation. This role is situated in Waltham, MA and offers a 13-week contract start date on March 2nd. The position involves working primarily with oncology and infusion pharmacy services in a dynamic clinical setting.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering medications and managing nonhazardous sterile compounding
• Supporting the infusion clinic, ambulatory clinics, and hospital units through timely medication delivery
• Assisting with Pyxis inventory management
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to maintain efficient pharmacy operations

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Rotating Saturdays on occasion

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license
• National certification as a Pharmacy Technician
• Proven experience in IV/infusion preparation and non-chemotherapy compounding
• Familiarity with oncology pharmacy procedures and protocols
