Inpatient Pharmacy Technician IV Certified | Westerville, Ohio

An opportunity is available for four certified Pharmacy Technicians with IV certification to support a busy hospital inpatient pharmacy. This contract position is ideal for skilled professionals who thrive in fast-paced healthcare environments and are committed to providing exceptional medication support to patients.

Location: Westerville, OH
Job Type: Contract (13 weeks)
Start Date: June 14
Shifts:

• Two positions: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, every other weekend
• Two positions: 10:00 PM – [shift end time unspecified]

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications for inpatient hospital settings
• Perform IV admixture and sterile compounding following safety and quality standards
• Assist pharmacists with order verification and medication distribution
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
• Support inventory control and medication storage in the pharmacy

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician credential
• IV certification required for sterile preparation duties
• Experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
• Knowledge of medication safety protocols and pharmacy systems
