Pharmacy Technician IV Certified - Woodridge, Illinois

An opportunity is available for an experienced IV Certified Pharmacy Technician to join a closed-door, long-term care facility in Woodridge, IL. This position focuses on sterile compounding and requires a detail-oriented professional who excels in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Location: Woodridge, IL
Schedule:

• Evening Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Rotating every other weekend

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare intravenous (IV) medications using aseptic techniques to maintain sterility and patient safety
• Perform thorough quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Manage inventory effectively to maintain adequate medication supply
• Adhere to USP 797 standards and all applicable regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to support smooth workflow in a high-volume environment (approximately 600 prescriptions per day)
• Utilize Frameworks software system (training provided if needed)

Qualifications:

• Valid and active Illinois Pharmacy Technician license required
• Proven sterile compounding experience in pharmacy settings
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure in a high-volume environment
• Strong commitment to reliability and excellent attendance
