A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced IV Certified Pharmacy Technician to support the evening shift in a closed-door long-term care facility located in Woodridge, IL. This role is ideal for technicians who thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume setting and prioritize reliability and excellent attendance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare intravenous (IV) medications using aseptic techniques to maintain strict sterility
- Conduct thorough quality assurance checks to ensure medication accuracy and safety
- Manage inventory effectively to maintain consistent supply levels
- Ensure full compliance with USP 797 standards and all relevant regulatory guidelines
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and clear Illinois Pharmacy Technician license is required
- Proven sterile compounding experience is essential
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a high-volume environment (approximately 600 prescriptions daily)
- Familiarity with Frameworks software is a plus; training is available for the right candidate
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 3:00pm to 11:30pm
- Rotating every other weekend
