IV Certified Pharmacy Technician in Worcester, MA

An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician with IV certification to contribute to oncology and infusion pharmacy operations in Worcester, MA. This contract role supports medication delivery and sterile compounding in a dynamic clinical setting, primarily focusing on nonhazardous preparations.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver medications to infusion clinics, ambulatory clinics, hospital units, and assist with Pyxis management
• Perform non-chemotherapy sterile compounding within the oncology/infusion pharmacy
• Support infusion medication workflow, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
• Collaborate with clinical staff to maintain safe and efficient pharmacy operations

Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license
• National certification as a Pharmacy Technician, with current IV/Infusion/Chemo certification highly preferred
• Prior experience in oncology or infusion pharmacy settings
• Strong understanding of sterile compounding techniques and safety protocols
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Rotating Saturdays as required
• Contract length: 13 weeks, starting March 2
