An established healthcare facility seeks an experienced IV/Infusion/Chemo Pharmacy Technician to support their oncology and infusion pharmacy operations. This contract role emphasizes the safe and efficient delivery of medications and sterile compounding within a dynamic clinical environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering medications to infusion clinics, ambulatory clinics, and hospital units.
  • Assisting with Pyxis medication management systems.
  • Compounding nonhazardous sterile preparations, primarily non-chemotherapy items.
  • Supporting oncology and infusion pharmacy services to ensure timely and accurate medication distribution.

Schedule and Location:

  • Position based in Worcester, MA.
  • Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Rotating Saturdays.
  • Contract length of 13 weeks, starting March 2.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license.
  • National certification as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Proven experience in IV certification, infusion, and chemotherapy pharmacy settings.
  • Ability to perform sterile compounding accurately and safely.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in medication delivery.
