Pharmacy Technician in Jacksonville, FL

An established pharmacy specializing in non-sterile compounding requires a knowledgeable Pharmacy Technician to support its team on a part-time basis. This role involves preparing and dispensing non-sterile compounded medications in accordance with established protocols, ensuring accuracy, safety, and quality.

Location:
Jacksonville, FL

Schedule:

• Part-Time, four half days per week
• Pharmacy hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense non-sterile compounded medications following pharmacy protocols
• Maintain detailed records of all compounded preparations
• Adhere to quality assurance and safety standards during compounding operations
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to support efficient workflow and operations

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in a non-retail compounding pharmacy environment (retail non-sterile compounding experience is not acceptable)
• Demonstrated expertise specifically in non-sterile compounding; sterile-only experience does not meet requirements
• Florida Pharmacy Technician License is required
• Experience with Liberty pharmacy software is preferred
