Pharmacy Technician - Jacksonville, Florida

A pharmacy technician opportunity is available in Jacksonville, FL, supporting a busy retail setting within a community health environment. This contract assignment offers a dynamic work schedule and a chance to apply specialized pharmacy skills with an experienced team focused on patient care.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-volume data entry and medication dispensing with accuracy and efficiency.
• Deliver exceptional patient care and support, maintaining clear communication.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and healthcare providers.
• Demonstrate pharmacy intuition by proactively identifying and addressing workflow needs.
• Utilize QS1 software adeptly for daily operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Florida Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment.
• Experience with HIV/AIDS medication dispensing is highly desirable and should be clearly indicated on the resume.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to punctuality and reliability.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team setting.
