Pharmacy Technician - Jacksonville, FL

An immediate opening is available for a skilled Pharmacy Technician in Jacksonville, FL, to support a busy community health pharmacy. This contract opportunity begins ASAP and is scheduled for 8 weeks with the possibility of extension if the fit is right. Work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy duties, including high-volume data entry and medication dispensing
• Maintain speed and accuracy to meet the demands of a busy pharmacy environment
• Provide exceptional patient care and support with a compassionate, professional approach
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with healthcare providers
• Use pharmacy intuition to identify and proactively address workflow needs to support smooth operations

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Florida Pharmacy Technician license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience working in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting; candidates without this experience will not be considered
• Experience dispensing HIV/AIDS medications must be clearly noted on your resume, even if minimal
• Proficient with QS1 pharmacy software or similarly advanced dispensing systems
• Strong commitment to reliability, punctuality, and a positive workplace attitude
