Pharmacy Technician | Jacksonville, Florida

An immediate opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support a busy community health setting in Jacksonville, FL. This contract position offers a chance to engage in high-volume retail pharmacy work with a focus on providing excellent patient care and support.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy duties including high-volume data entry and dispensing medication efficiently.
• Maintain a steady workflow and keep pace with demand.
• Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and team members.
• Demonstrate proactive pharmacy intuition by identifying needs and stepping in to assist.
• Support a positive and collaborative work environment.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years recent high-volume retail pharmacy technician experience is essential.
• Experience dispensing HIV/AIDS medications is highly preferred; please ensure this is clearly noted on your resume.
• Valid Florida Pharmacy Technician license.
• Proficiency with QS1 pharmacy software.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to punctuality and attendance.
