This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to provide exceptional support in a busy retail pharmacy environment in Jacksonville, FL. The position is a contract assignment starting immediately, with an initial duration of 8 weeks and the possibility to extend based on performance and fit.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform typical retail pharmacy duties, including high-volume data entry and accurate medication dispensing
  • Maintain a fast work pace to meet high demand
  • Deliver a high level of patient care and support with professionalism and clear communication
  • Collaborate effectively with pharmacy team members and healthcare providers
  • Proactively identify and respond to pharmacy needs, demonstrating strong pharmacy intuition
  • Utilize QS1 pharmacy software efficiently for daily operations

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Florida Pharmacy Technician license
  • Minimum of two years recent experience working in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting
  • Experience dispensing HIV/AIDS medications is highly preferred and must be clearly noted on your resume
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills, teamwork, and a positive attitude
  • Reliability and punctuality with commitment to daily attendance
