Pharmacy Technician - Jacksonville, FL

A pharmacy technician position is available on a contract basis in Jacksonville, FL, with an immediate start and an initial duration of 8 weeks, with potential for extension based on performance.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Responsibilities include performing typical retail pharmacy duties such as high-volume data entry and dispensing medications efficiently while maintaining accuracy. The role requires the ability to keep pace in a fast-moving environment and demonstrate strong pharmacy intuition by proactively identifying and addressing pharmacy needs.

Qualifications:

• Florida Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• Minimum of 2 years recent high-volume retail pharmacy experience; candidates without recent (within 2 years) experience will not be considered.
• Experience with dispensing HIV/AIDS medications is strongly preferred and must be clearly indicated on the resume.
• Proficiency with QS1 pharmacy software is essential.
