Pharmacy Technician in Jacksonville, FL

An immediate opening is available for a Pharmacy Technician with strong high-volume retail pharmacy experience. This contract position is based in Jacksonville, FL, requiring an energetic and detail-oriented professional to support daily pharmacy operations at a busy community health facility.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing typical retail pharmacy duties such as accurate, high-volume data entry and efficient medication dispensing
• Maintaining a fast yet precise pace to meet workflow demands
• Demonstrating proactive pharmacy intuition by identifying needs and assisting wherever necessary
• Communicating effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and team members to ensure excellent patient care and support
• Upholding a consistent attendance record with punctuality and reliability

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Florida Pharmacy Technician license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience working in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment
• Experience handling HIV/AIDS medications is highly preferred and must be clearly indicated on the resume, even if minimal
• Proficient with QS1 pharmacy software or equivalent systems
• Strong teamwork skills along with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients and providers
• Positive attitude and commitment to delivering patient-centered care daily

Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

This position begins immediately with an expected duration of 8 weeks, with potential for extension based on performance and mutual fit.
