Pharmacy Technician - Jacksonville, Florida

A pharmacy technician position is available in Jacksonville, FL, on a contract basis with an immediate start date. This role is set for an 8-week duration, with the possibility of extension based on performance and fit.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
• Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Responsibilities include typical retail pharmacy duties such as high-volume data entry and dispensing. The ability to maintain a fast pace while ensuring accuracy is essential. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate a strong level of patient care and support, effective communication with both patients and healthcare providers, and a proactive approach to pharmacy tasks.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Recent experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment within the last two years.
• Experience dispensing HIV/AIDS medications is highly preferred and must be clearly indicated on the resume.
• Licensed as a Florida Pharmacy Technician.
• Proficiency with QS1 pharmacy software is required.
• Strong teamwork skills and commitment to punctuality and attendance.
• Pharmacy intuition to identify and address workflow needs proactively.
• A positive and professional attitude.
