An urgent opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support a busy pharmacy environment in Jacksonville, FL. This contract role requires a professional keen on providing high-quality patient care within a fast-paced retail setting.

Location: Jacksonville, FL
Contract Duration: 8 weeks initially with the potential to extend based on performance
Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy duties, including dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
• Manage high-volume data entry while maintaining attention to detail and speed
• Provide exceptional patient support and communication
• Collaborate effectively with team members and healthcare providers
• Demonstrate pharmacy intuition by proactively identifying needs and assisting in various pharmacy tasks
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times

Required Qualifications / Experience:

• Florida licensed Pharmacy Technician
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience working in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment
• Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software, with proficiency in its use
• Experience dispensing HIV/AIDS medications is highly preferred; candidates must note this experience clearly on their resumes
