Pharmacy Technician in Jacksonville, FL

An immediate opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support a busy retail pharmacy setting in Jacksonville, FL. This contract role offers an 8-week assignment with potential extension for the right candidate demonstrating strong performance and team fit.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy duties including high-volume data entry and dispensing with accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain a fast pace while ensuring patient safety and compliance with protocols
• Demonstrate proactive pharmacy intuition by identifying workflow needs and assisting where required
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members to facilitate optimal patient care
• Utilize QS1 pharmacy software proficiently to support dispensing and record-keeping
• Uphold punctuality, reliability, and a positive attitude throughout all shifts

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Florida Pharmacy Technician license
• Minimum of two years’ recent experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment; candidates without recent high-volume retail experience will not be considered
• Experience with dispensing HIV/AIDS medications is highly preferred and must be clearly noted on your resume, even if limited
• Dedication to delivering high-quality patient care and strong teamwork skills
• Strong communication abilities with healthcare providers and patients
• Software savvy with demonstrated QS1 experience
