Pharmacy Technician in Jamaica, NY

An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician with expertise in home infusion or compounding pharmacy to support a growing operation. This direct hire position requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage both compounding tasks and patient/provider interactions effectively.

Location: Jamaica, NY

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday shifts starting at 8 AM, 9 AM, or 10 AM (flexibility required)
• Rotating weekends
• Hours of operation span 6 AM to 9 PM, seven days a week

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Experience in home infusion or designated compounding pharmacy required
• Candidates with inpatient-only experience will not be considered
• Pharmacy Technician license (CA license preferred)
• National Certification is highly preferred
• Familiarity with proprietary workflow systems is a plus
• Strong communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with patients and healthcare providers

Responsibilities:

• Accurately compound medications in accordance with protocols
• Communicate directly with patients and providers to coordinate care
• Support workflow within the proprietary system to ensure timely medication delivery
• Maintain adherence to quality and safety standards in all pharmacy operations
