Pharmacy Technician | Jbsa Lackland, Texas

Pharmacy Technicians are needed to support fast-paced, production-oriented dispensing and fulfillment at a facility located in Jbsa Lackland, TX. This contract role offers an exciting opportunity to gain experience in a closed-door pharmacy setting while performing critical duties that keep medication delivery efficient and accurate.

Start Dates:

• June 1
• June 8
• June 15

Duration: Approximately 8 to 12 weeks with the possibility to transition to permanent employment.
Shift: Primarily 8:00 a.m. start with 5 consecutive 8-hour shifts per week. Some shifts may begin at 9:00 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. as operational needs require.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications quickly and accurately in a high-volume environment
• Prepare and package prescriptions for courier pick-up and delivery
• Ensure quality control standards are consistently met
• Support pharmacy operations with attention to detail and efficiency

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Current Tx Pharmacy Technician license required
• Retail pharmacy experience is strongly preferred, providing a smooth transition into a closed-door setting
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx system is a strong advantage – candidates with this experience are prioritized for automatic consideration
• National certification is beneficial but not mandatory
