Pharmacy Technician - Jbsa Lackland, Texas

A healthcare facility located at JBSA Lackland, TX, is seeking three skilled Pharmacy Technicians to fill production and fulfillment roles on a contract basis. These positions offer an excellent opportunity for pharmacy technicians with retail experience to transition into a closed-door pharmacy environment.

Start Dates:

• June 1
• June 8
• June 15

Schedule:

• 8:00 AM start time, working five 8-hour shifts per week
• Occasional start times at 9:00 AM or 10:00 AM may be required

Duration:

• 8 to 12 weeks, with potential to convert to permanent employment

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Prepare and package prescriptions for courier pickup and timely delivery
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies and safety protocols

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Texas Pharmacy Technician license required
• National certification is advantageous
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred, especially for those familiar with fast-paced environments
• Experience with Pioneer Rx system is a strong plus and may lead to automatic consideration
