Pharmacy Tech - Jbsa Lackland, Texas

Three Production/Fulfillment Pharmacy Technicians are needed to begin immediately at a busy pharmacy facility in Jbsa Lackland, TX. This contract role offers the chance to work in a dynamic, closed-door pharmacy environment with potential for contract-to-hire after an initial 8-12 week assignment.

Schedule/Hours:

• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (primarily starting at 8:00 AM)
• Possible shifts starting at 9:00 AM or 10:00 AM, based on operational needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently dispense medications at a fast pace to meet production goals
• Prepare, package, and label prescriptions accurately for courier pickup and delivery
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies and procedures in a closed-door setting
• Utilize pharmacy software to process prescriptions and manage inventory

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Pharmacy Technician license
• National certification is a plus
• Experience in retail pharmacy preferred but not required
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx system is highly desirable; candidates with Pioneer Rx experience are strongly encouraged to apply
