Retail Pharmacy Technician - Jersey City, NJ

A growing healthcare organization is launching a new outpatient pharmacy in Newark, NJ, and is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the team. This community-focused pharmacy will serve a diverse patient population, providing a dynamic and rewarding work environment. Location: Newark, NJ
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Schedule:

• Monday through Saturday
• Day Shift Hours
• Full-Time

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists with prescription processing and dispensing
• Enter and maintain accurate patient and prescription information
• Support inventory management and medication ordering
• Process insurance claims and resolve billing issues
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active New Jersey Pharmacy Technician registration/license
• Minimum 1 year of retail pharmacy experience
• PTCB Certification preferred but not required
• Bilingual in English/Spanish highly preferred
• Experience with pharmacy management systems such as PrimeRx or MicroMerchant is a plus
• Strong communication and customer service skills
