Pharmacy Technician in Jersey City, NJ

This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician role within a dynamic, fast-paced closed-door pharmacy environment located in Sayreville, New Jersey. This direct hire position involves managing a high volume of prescriptions, averaging around 900 scripts per day, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to patients accessing UPNEEQ®, a specialized therapy. The role requires proficiency with Prime Rx pharmacy software and the ability to handle a variable schedule that includes day and mid shifts between 8:00am and 8:00pm, with two closing shifts weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a large volume of inbound and outbound calls from patients and healthcare providers
• Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and physicians
• Accurately enter data and prepare prescriptions for fulfillment
• Maintain precise patient, physician, and prescription records
• Identify and report adverse events following company protocols

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current, active Pharmacy Technician license in New Jersey
• Minimum of 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience, preferably within a mail order or closed-door pharmacy setting
• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
• Experience with Prime Rx software preferred
• Commitment to stability in employment; candidates with multiple pharmacy changes within the past year are discouraged

Schedule:

• Variable shifts including days and mid shifts
• Operating hours: 8:00am – 8:00pm
• Two closing shifts per week
