Pharmacy Technician in Jersey City, NJ

This opportunity invites a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to contribute to a dynamic, fast-growing closed-door pharmacy environment. The role revolves around supporting patients with access to UPNEEQ®, a first-in-class therapy, ensuring accurate prescription handling, and delivering exceptional service in a high-volume setting.

Work Schedule:

• Variable schedule including day and mid shifts
• Two closing shifts per week
• Operating hours from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls with patients and healthcare providers
• Deliver exceptional customer service to support patients and physicians
• Accurately enter data and prepare prescriptions for timely processing
• Maintain precise patient, physician, and prescription records
• Report adverse events following established protocols
• Collaborate closely with the pharmacy team to support all operational activities

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in New Jersey
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably within a mail order or closed-door pharmacy setting
• Proficient data entry skills with attention to accuracy and detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Prior experience in retail pharmacy is acceptable; however, candidates with frequent job changes over the last year are less preferred

Pharmacy Software Experience:

• Familiarity with Prime Rx is advantageous
