Pharmacy Technician - Jersey City, New Jersey

This position offers an opportunity for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to contribute to a fast-growing closed-door pharmacy specializing in UPNEEQ®, a first-in-class therapy. The role involves managing a high volume of patient and healthcare provider communications, ensuring accurate prescription preparation, and supporting the Pharmacy team with various operational tasks.

Location: Sayreville, New Jersey
Job Type: Contract to Hire (8-13 Weeks)
Schedule:

• Variable days and mid-shifts
• Two closing shifts per week
• Operating hours from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls with patients and healthcare providers
• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and physicians
• Accurately enter data and prepare prescriptions using Prime Rx pharmacy software
• Monitor and report any adverse events in alignment with company procedures
• Maintain precise patient, physician, and prescription records

Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in New Jersey
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in a mail order or closed-door pharmacy setting
• Strong data entry capabilities with attention to detail
• Experience with high script volume environments (approximately 900 prescriptions per day)
• Ability to commit and avoid frequent job changes, as stability is valued
