Per Diem Pharmacy Technician | Jersey City, New Jersey

A retail pharmacy environment in New Jersey is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations during weekday shifts. This role offers the opportunity to efficiently assist pharmacists while providing exceptional customer service within a busy retail setting.

Responsibilities:

• Enter patient information and prescription orders accurately into the pharmacy computer system.
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications in compliance with safety protocols.
• Monitor and manage over-the-counter inventory to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Greet customers warmly, addressing their questions and concerns promptly.
• Resolve issues related to third-party prescription plans to ensure smooth prescription processing.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in New Jersey is required.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred, enhancing communication with a diverse customer base.

Schedule:

• Per Diem (PRN) assignment
• First shift, Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
