Per Diem Pharmacy Tech | Jersey City, New Jersey

This opportunity is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support a retail pharmacy setting. The role is per diem, offering flexible workdays primarily Monday through Friday. The schedule features first shifts from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm over select dates spanning late May and early June.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy system
• Assist licensed pharmacists with dispensing prescriptions in compliance with safety protocols
• Manage over-the-counter inventory levels to maintain proper stock
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service and address any patient inquiries
• Collaborate with third-party payers to resolve prescription processing issues efficiently

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active New Jersey Pharmacy Technician license required
• Prior retail pharmacy experience is preferred
• Bilingual Spanish skills are a strong asset to better serve the community
