A retail pharmacy technician opportunity is available on a per diem basis in Jersey City, NJ. This role involves supporting pharmacy operations through accurate data entry, inventory management, and exceptional customer service.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 1st shift

Responsibilities:

• Enter patient information and prescription orders accurately into the computer system.
• Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescription orders in compliance with procedures.
• Manage and order over-the-counter inventory to maintain adequate supply levels.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their needs.
• Work with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues, ensuring smooth prescription processing.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacy technician license in New Jersey is required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred to enhance communication with customers.
• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is beneficial but not mandatory.
