Per Diem Pharmacy Technician | Jersey City, New Jersey

Support efficient pharmacy operations in a retail setting as a Pharmacy Technician on a per diem basis in Newark, New Jersey. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to patient care by accurately processing prescription orders and providing outstanding customer service.

Schedule:

• July 6th and 7th (Monday and Tuesday)
• 1st shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the computer system.
• Assist licensed pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions.
• Manage and reorder over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Greet and assist customers, addressing their needs and concerns with professionalism and care.
• Collaborate with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues, facilitating smooth prescription processing.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in the state of New Jersey.
• Proven retail pharmacy experience is essential.
• Experience with Pioneer pharmacy software system is preferred.
