Per Diem Pharmacy Technician in Jersey City, NJ

An opportunity is available for a skilled Community Pharmacy Technician to support an FQHC/340B setting. This per diem position requires reliability and consistency, ideal for professionals seeking flexible hours with a steady schedule.

Location: Jersey City, NJ
Schedule:

• One weekday per week (consistent day required)
• Every other Saturday
  Hours: Pharmacy operates 9 AM – 5 PM Monday through Saturday
  Start Date: Immediate availability preferred
  System Experience: MicroMerchant / PrimeRx

Responsibilities:

• Accurately preparing and dispensing medications following established procedures
• Processing 340B prescriptions and maintaining compliance with related regulations
• Assisting with inventory management and stock replenishment
• Providing excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
• Maintaining accurate records within MicroMerchant and PrimeRx systems
• Supporting daily pharmacy operations aligned with FQHC standards

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably within a community or 340B pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with MicroMerchant and PrimeRx pharmacy systems highly preferred
• Ability to work a consistent weekday and every other Saturday reliably
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills and patient-focused approach
• Certified Pharmacy Technician credential preferred but not mandatory
