A healthcare facility in Chicago, IL is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide expert medication services on a per diem basis. This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist with strong customer service skills and experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings.

Scheduled shifts include multiple 9-hour days in July 2026, specifically:

  • Friday, July 10 | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Wednesday, July 15 | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Thursday, July 16 | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Friday, July 17 | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Friday, July 24 | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Wednesday, July 29 | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Thursday, July 30 | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Friday, July 31 | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately as prescribed by physicians and authorized health practitioners
  • Counsel patients and provide information regarding proper medication use and potential side effects
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to support patient care goals

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois pharmacist license is required
  • Experience in retail and/or long-term care pharmacy environments is preferred
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Commitment to compliance with regulatory standards and pharmacy best practices
