Per Diem Pharmacy Technician - Joliet, IL

A pharmacy is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician to support its retail operations. This role offers flexible PRN hours, with shifts typically scheduled from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The position is based in Joliet, IL, and requires a durable commitment to quality and accuracy in a fast-paced retail setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the pharmacist with daily pharmacy operations
• Accurate data entry of prescriptions and patient information
• Filling prescriptions and preparing medications for dispensing
• Engage with customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Illinois Pharmacy Technician license is required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent retail pharmacy experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation

Schedule/Hours:

• Per Diem, PRN availability
• Shifts from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
