Pharmacy Technician in Kalamazoo, MI

This position offers an opportunity for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to work in a dynamic retail pharmacy environment with a temp-to-hire arrangement. The role requires proficiency in pharmacy operations and the ability to work efficiently within a team to support daily functions.

Location: Kalamazoo, MI

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 8.5-hour shifts
• Rotating start times: 7:30 am, 8:00 am, 9:30 am, and 11:30 am
• Clinic closes at 6:00 pm on Fridays
• No weekends to start; weekend shifts expected in the future

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
• Manage prescription orders using the Pioneer RX computer system
• Maintain inventory and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations
• Provide excellent customer service in a retail setting
• Ensure all pharmacy operations adhere to state laws and company policies

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan pharmacy technician license is required
• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail environment
• Familiarity with the Pioneer RX system is a strong plus
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail
