Pharmacy Technician | Kalamazoo, Michigan

This opportunity is for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support operations in a busy retail environment. The position offers a day-shift schedule with rotating start times and provides the potential for transition from temporary to permanent hire.

Location:

• Kalamazoo, MI

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 8.5-hour shifts
• Rotating start times: 7:30 am, 8:00 am, 9:30 am, and 11:30 am
• Facility closes at 6:00 pm on Fridays
• No weekend shifts initially; weekend schedules may be introduced later

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately
• Manage inventory and maintain proper documentation following pharmacy protocols
• Use computer systems to enter and process prescriptions efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service and support within a fast-paced retail setting
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail setting
• Valid Michigan Pharmacy Technician License
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX computer system preferred, but not mandatory
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to rotating shift start times
