Pharmacy Technician - Kalamazoo, MI

Location: Kalamazoo, MI
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8.5-hour shifts with rotating start times at 7:30am, 8:00am, 9:30am, and 11:30am
• Closed Friday at 6pm
• No weekend shifts initially, with weekend scheduling expected to vary in the future

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications while following established protocols
• Assist pharmacists with inventory management and customer interactions
• Utilize the Pioneer RX computer system for prescription processing and record-keeping
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy laws and safety regulations
• Provide exceptional service in a fast-paced retail environment

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Michigan pharmacy technician license is required
• Proven experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX computer system is a definite plus
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and customer service skills
