Pharmacy Technician in Katy, TX

A part-time Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available at a small independent pharmacy setting, offering a focused and supportive work environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are reliable, coachable, and eager to learn the pharmacy technician profession.

Location: Katy, TX
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• No weekend shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescriptions and perform data entry tasks
• Support the pharmacist/owner in daily pharmacy operations
• Maintain attention to detail and ensure compliance with pharmacy practices
• No compounding duties required

System Used: BestRx, known for its user-friendly interface

Desired Experience:

• Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred but not required
• Open to training and candidates who may be trainees
• Strong reliability and a willingness to be coached and learn new skills

Work Environment:

• Small, close-knit team currently consisting of just the pharmacist/owner
• Approximately 150 prescriptions processed per week, allowing a manageable workflow

This position offers a contract to hire arrangement with compensation for a permanent role ranging from $14 to $17 per hour based on experience. It provides a great opportunity to grow and develop skills in a smaller pharmacy setting without weekend obligations.
