Per Diem Pharmacy Technician in Katy, TX

Support daily pharmacy operations as a dependable Part-Time Retail Pharmacy Technician in a fast-paced retail environment. This role involves assisting pharmacists with prescription preparation, managing inventory, processing insurance claims, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Schedule Options (Part-Time): Choose the schedule that best fits your availability:

• Option 1: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, plus every other Saturday (full-time hours, typically 8 hours)
• Option 2: Weekday afternoons Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM – 5:30 PM, plus every other Saturday (full-time hours). If working Saturday, Friday may be taken off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists with prescription preparation and order entry
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and customers
• Manage inventory, restock medications, and maintain medication organization
• Process insurance claims and resolve claim rejections
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy workspace
• Support daily workflow to ensure timely patient service

Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacy Technician license in Texas required
• Preferred experience in retail pharmacy settings
• Strong attention to detail with effective communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Flexibility to work scheduled Saturdays
