Pharmacy Tech | Kinston, North Carolina

A Federally Qualified Health Center in Snow Hill, NC, is seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician for a maternity leave contract of 13+ weeks starting in late May. This role provides an excellent opportunity for experienced pharmacy technicians to support patient care in a dynamic outpatient pharmacy setting.

Schedule & Hours:

• Monday through Friday
• Day shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• One-hour lunch break; facility is closed during this time

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications in accordance with prescriptions and regulations
• Manage pharmacy inventory to ensure stock availability and compliance
• Handle insurance processing and billing efficiently
• Provide exceptional customer service and patient consults
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to support patient medication needs

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Must hold a current North Carolina Pharmacy Technician license
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a similar setting
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with patients and team members
