Pharmacy Technician | Knox, Indiana

A retail pharmacy is seeking experienced Indiana Licensed Pharmacy Technicians to support pharmacy operations with order entry and customer transactions. This contract opportunity begins June 29th and continues until a permanent placement is made.

Location: Knox, IN (Pulaski Memorial Hospital Community Pharmacy)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (40 hours/week)
• Every other Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities include accurate order entry utilizing the PioneerRx system (preferred experience), processing customer transactions, and providing excellent service in a retail environment. After completing three days of training and orientation, technicians may also assist at a sister location in Francesville, IN, which requires PTCB certification.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Indiana Pharmacy Technician License
• Retail pharmacy experience is essential
• Familiarity with PioneerRx order entry system preferred
• PTCB certification required for coverage at Francesville facility
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small pharmacy team
• Local candidates only due to on-site training and scheduling needs

This role operates in a professional retail pharmacy setting with a business casual dress code. The pharmacy team consists of a Pharmacy Manager, one full-time pharmacist, and two full-time technicians, fostering a close-knit, supportive environment.
