Pharmacy Technician - Knox, Indiana

This opportunity is ideal for licensed Pharmacy Technicians with retail experience seeking a contract role in a community pharmacy setting. The position involves key responsibilities including order entry and assisting customers at the point of sale within a supportive team environment.

Location: Knox, Indiana (Pulaski Memorial Hospital Community Pharmacy in Winamac, IN)
Schedule:

• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Every other Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate order entry using the PioneerRx system (experience preferred)
• Ring up customers efficiently and professionally
• Support pharmacy operations in a retail environment
• Provide coverage at a sister facility (Francesville Community Pharmacy) after training, if needed

Qualifications:

• Indiana Licensed Pharmacy Technician required
• Retail pharmacy experience essential
• PTCB certification needed for coverage at the Francesville site
• Ability to complete 3 days of initial training/orientation prior to start
• Local candidates preferred due to coverage needs
• Professional business casual attire

Team Environment:

• Collaborate with a Pharmacy Manager, one full-time Pharmacist, and two full-time Technicians
• Work within a close-knit team that supports patient care and pharmacy operations
