Pharmacy Technician in Knox, IN

A contract opportunity is available for Indiana Licensed Pharmacy Technicians to support a retail pharmacy setting in Knox, IN. This role requires expertise in retail pharmacy operations, with a focus on order entry and customer transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate order entry using PioneerRx system (experience preferred)
• Process customer transactions efficiently and courteously
• Provide support at a sister facility after training, if needed
• Adhere to business casual dress code and professional standards
• Complete a mandatory 3-day training/orientation before starting on-site

Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician license required
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred, including familiarity with PioneerRx
• PTCB certification essential for coverage at the sister facility
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with every other Saturday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Local candidates preferred due to on-site requirements and training

• Primary site in Knox, IN, with potential coverage at Francesville Community Pharmacy in Francesville, IN

This technician role involves working alongside a Pharmacy Manager, one full-time pharmacist, and two technician FTEs in a growing retail pharmacy environment.
