Pharmacy Technician - Knox, Indiana

A retail pharmacy technician position is open through a contract opportunity based in Knox, Indiana, supporting a community pharmacy setting. This role requires active Indiana Pharmacy Technician licensure and prior retail experience to manage order entry and customer transactions efficiently within a busy pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter prescription orders and process customer transactions using the PioneerRx system (experience preferred).
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a smooth workflow.
• After adequate training, possibly provide support at a nearby sister pharmacy location.
• Adhere to dress code standards, presenting a professional, business casual appearance.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician license.
• Previous retail pharmacy experience required.
• Familiarity with the PioneerRx order entry system is a strong plus.
• Commitment to completing a 3-day orientation before starting.
• Local candidates preferred for ease of commute and coordination.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, 40 hours per week.
• Every other Saturday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm weekend coverage required.
