Pharmacy Technician | Knox, Indiana

An opportunity is available for two Indiana Licensed and PTCB-certified Pharmacy Technicians to support a community pharmacy in Francesville, IN. This contract role offers approximately 24 to 30 hours per week, primarily Wednesday through Friday, within standard pharmacy hours of Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Weekend coverage is not required.

This setting processes around 30 prescriptions daily, providing a focused retail pharmacy environment with a small, dedicated team. The pharmacy uses the PioneerRx order entry system and Eyecon Medication Counting Device automation, with experience in these preferred to ensure smooth operations. Technicians will work alongside pharmacists who verify prescriptions remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurate order entry and prescription filling
• Customer service, including ringing up customers
• Participation in a thorough 3-day training and orientation program before starting
• Potential coverage at a sister facility after training, based on operational needs

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician License and PTCB certification
• Retail pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with PioneerRx and automated medication counting devices is a plus
