Pharmacy Technician | La Crosse, Wisconsin

An opportunity is available for a skilled hospital pharmacy technician to support inpatient services in Richland Center, WI. This 13-week contract assignment requires a motivated professional to contribute to smooth pharmacy operations and patient care within a hospital setting.

Key responsibilities include managing Pyxis restocking, conducting outdate checks, replenishing medications and supplies, preparing IVs and sterile products, entering charges, ordering and receiving drug shipments, monitoring storage temperatures, performing daily cleanroom cleaning, preparing chemotherapy medications, and other duties as assigned.

Schedule details:

• Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekends: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Every 4th weekend rotation
• Choose between 8 or 10-hour shifts during weekdays

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician license or eligibility to obtain one quickly
• Approximately two years of current inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
