A pharmacy technician role is available with a specialized TPN compounding pharmacy that serves clients nationwide. This contract-to-hire opportunity is based in Louisville, KY, offering a Monday through Friday schedule from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with an initial contract lasting approximately 12 weeks and potential for permanent placement.
Responsibilities include supporting sterile/clean room operations by performing data entry, managing prior authorizations (PAs), and assisting with preparation tasks for clean room technicians. Note that this role does not involve direct clean room sterile compounding but provides vital prep support.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Current KY pharmacy technician license required; national certification highly preferred
- Proficiency in data entry with strong attention to detail
- Experience in materials management
- Previous infusion pharmacy or home infusion experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Familiarity with CPR+ pharmacy system is highly preferred
