Pharmacy Technician | La Grange, Kentucky

A specialty compounding pharmacy focused on shipping TPNs nationwide has an opening for a Pharmacy Technician to join their Louisville, KY site. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers a unique chance to work in a fast-paced environment supporting infusion therapy preparation and gain valuable industry experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate and efficient data entry related to medication preparation and patient authorizations (PAs)
• Support sterile/clean room preparation by prepping materials and supplies for the clean room technicians—note, this role does not involve direct clean room compounding
• Manage materials to ensure timely availability for production needs and maintain detailed records
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to uphold quality and safety standards

Qualifications:

• Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
• Experience in materials management or pharmacy technician duties preferred
• Prior infusion setting experience is a plus but not required—this role is ideal for a technician looking to gain infusion pharmacy exposure
• Experience with CPR+ pharmacy software highly preferred
• Kentucky pharmacy technician license required; national certification is highly desirable

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

This 12-13 week contract offers the potential to transition into a full-time role if mutually beneficial. Start date is ASAP in the Louisville location.
