Pharmacy Technician in La Grange, NC

A Federally Qualified Health Center in Snow Hill, NC, is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician for a maternity leave contract lasting 13+ weeks starting in late May. This role offers the opportunity to support medication dispensing and patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Location: Snow Hill, North Carolina
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Day shifts, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• One-hour lunch break

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications following protocols
• Manage pharmacy inventory to ensure availability and compliance
• Process insurance claims efficiently and troubleshoot issues
• Deliver excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns
• Provide consults to support patient understanding of medications

Qualifications:

• Current North Carolina Pharmacy Technician license
• Minimum of one year of pharmacy technician experience, preferably in a clinical setting
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff
