Pharmacy Technician | La Vergne, Tennessee

Join a dynamic mail order renal specialty pharmacy handling approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. This contract opportunity is based in La Vergne, TN, offering 8-week assignments with the potential to transition into permanent roles for certified Pharmacy Technicians (PTCB required for permanent placement).

Schedule Options:

• One technician for the 11:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. shift
• Two technicians for the 1:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. shift
• 40 hours per week
• Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities:

• In a customer service capacity: verify shipping details, enter new patient information, and update patient profiles using the pharmacy software system (Wellsky)
• In a dispensing role: assist with filling and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
• Maintain attention to detail to ensure prescription accuracy in a non-automated environment

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail or specialty pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with pharmacy order entry systems preferred (experience with Wellsky is a plus)
• Strong communication skills for customer service tasks
• Certification (PTCB) required for consideration for permanent placement
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
