Pharmacy Technician in La Vergne, TN

Pharmacy Technicians are needed to support a busy mail order renal specialty pharmacy with an average of 1,000 prescriptions filled daily. This is a contract opportunity with the potential to transition into a temp-to-hire position for candidates who hold or obtain PTCB certification.

Location: La Vergne, TN
Schedule:

• One position: 11:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• One position: 1:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
  Hours: 40 hours per week
  Assignment Length: Minimum 12 weeks
  Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Perform customer service duties such as verifying shipping information and entering or updating patient profiles in the Wellsky pharmacy software system
• Assist in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure timely and precise order fulfillment
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies and procedures

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Prior experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in a retail or mail order setting
• Proficiency with pharmacy software systems; experience with Wellsky is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and patient privacy
• PTCB certification required for permanent placement consideration
