Pharmacy Technician - La Vergne, Tennessee

A mail order renal specialty pharmacy is seeking two skilled Pharmacy Technicians for contract assignments starting immediately. These positions offer an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment filling approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. Candidates will support critical pharmacy operations using the Wellsky order entry system, which operates without automation.

Shift Options:

• 11:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• 1:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
• 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service Technician: Verify shipping information, enter new patient data, and update patient profiles within the pharmacy software system.
• Dispensing Technician: Accurately fill and dispense medications while maintaining pharmacy workflow efficiency.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid PTCB certification is required for permanent placement consideration.
• Previous experience in pharmacy technician roles, preferably in mail order or specialty pharmacy settings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially in medication dispensing.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and follow pharmacy policies.
• Proficient computer skills for pharmacy software use.
