Pharmacy Tech | La Vergne, Tennessee

A fast-paced mail order and renal specialty pharmacy is seeking skilled pharmacy technicians for a 13-week contract assignment with the possibility of temp-to-hire. This role requires dedication to accuracy and customer service in a high-volume setting, processing approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily using the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system (no automation).

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• ASAP start date

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform customer service tasks such as verifying shipping information, entering new patient data, and updating patient profiles within the pharmacy software
• Fill and dispense medications accurately in compliance with pharmacy protocols
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacists and team members to ensure timely prescription fulfillment

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Pharmacy Technician experience in retail, mail order, or specialty pharmacy settings
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems; experience with Wellsky is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Customer service orientation with good communication abilities
• PTCB certification required for candidates considered for permanent placement
