Pharmacy Technician in La Vergne, TN

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to support a mail order, renal specialty pharmacy with approximately 1,000 prescriptions filled daily. This assignment offers a 13-week contract with the potential to transition into a temp-to-hire role. Candidates seeking permanent placement must hold PTCB certification.

Responsibilities include working in either a customer service or dispensing capacity. Customer service technicians will verify shipping information, enter new patient data, and update patient profiles using the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system. Dispensing technicians will be responsible for accurately filling and dispensing medications. There is no automation in the pharmacy, so attention to detail and manual processing skills are essential.

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• Immediate start

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Pharmacy Technician experience in a pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with mail order or specialty pharmacy operations preferred
• Proficiency in pharmacy software systems; experience with Wellsky is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently without automation support
• PTCB certification required for permanent placement consideration
