Pharmacy Technician | La Vergne, Tennessee

Join a dynamic renal specialty pharmacy team as a certified Pharmacy Technician, supporting mail order operations with approximately 1,000 prescriptions filled daily. This contract role offers a 13-week assignment with potential to transition into a temp-to-hire position for candidates holding PTCB certification.

Location: La Vergne, TN
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform customer service functions such as verifying shipping information, entering new patient data, and updating patient profiles within the pharmacy software system
• Accurately fill and dispense medications in alignment with pharmacy protocols
• Utilize the Wellsky order entry system in a no-automation environment to manage prescriptions efficiently
• Ensure compliance with Tennessee Board of Pharmacy regulations and company standards

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician registered with the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy
• PTCB certification required for temp-to-perm consideration
• Previous experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably mail order or specialty pharmacy
• Proficiency with pharmacy software systems, ideally Wellsky, is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
