Pharmacy Technician | La Vergne, Tennessee

A well-established renal specialty pharmacy is seeking two Certified Pharmacy Technicians registered with the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy for a 13-week contract assignment. This role offers the opportunity to work in a busy mail-order pharmacy environment processing approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily using the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispensing Role: Accurately fill and dispense medications following pharmacy protocols.
• Customer Service Role: Verify shipping details, enter new patient information, and update patient profiles in the pharmacy software system.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain smooth operational flow in a high-volume setting.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with current registration from the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy.
• Experience working in a pharmacy setting, preferably with mail-order or specialty pharmacy exposure.
• Proficiency with pharmacy order entry systems; experience with Wellsky is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare providers.
