Pharmacy Technician - La Vergne, Tennessee

This position is for a part-time pharmacy technician within a mail order, renal specialty pharmacy setting. Operating Monday through Friday from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, this role offers an ASAP start for motivated candidates.

Responsibilities include:

• Customer service duties such as verifying shipping information, entering new patient details, and updating patient profiles within the pharmacy software.
• Dispensing roles involving the accurate filling and dispensing of medications.
• Utilizing the Wellsky order entry system to manage up to 1,000 prescriptions daily, with no automation tools available.

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in a mail order or specialty pharmacy environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in both customer service and dispensing capacities.
• Proficient with pharmacy software systems; experience with Wellsky is a plus.
• Ability to work the specified evening hours reliably.
