Pharmacy Technician in La Vergne, TN

A pharmacy technician position is available in a mail order, renal specialty pharmacy located in a Nashville suburb. This pharmacy fills approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily and uses the Wellsky order entry system without automation. The role offers a 13-week assignment with the potential to transition into a temp-to-hire position.

Two shift schedules are available:

• Day Shift: 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Evening Shift: 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

This is a full-time contract opportunity at 40 hours per week with an ASAP start.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform customer service tasks including verifying shipping information, entering new patient data, and updating patient profiles in the pharmacy software system.
• Assist in dispensing medications accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.

Desired Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in a mail order or specialty pharmacy setting.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems; experience with Wellsky is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
