Pharmacy Technician | La Vergne, Tennessee

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to support a mail order, renal specialty pharmacy handling approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. This role requires working efficiently within the pharmacy’s order entry system to ensure accurate filling and customer service support. The position offers a 13-week contract with the possibility to transition to a permanent role.

Location: La Vergne, TN
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm
Hours: 40 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Support customer service by verifying shipping information and entering new patient data
• Update patient profiles within the pharmacy software system
• Dispense and fill medications accurately for a high-volume mail order specialty pharmacy
• Work with the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system; the facility operates without automation

Desired Qualifications:

• Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license preferred
• PTCB national certification is highly favored but not mandatory for candidates with strong relevant experience
• Prior experience in a pharmacy technician role, especially in specialty or mail order pharmacy settings
• Ability to work effectively in either customer service or medication dispensing capacities
