Key Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve, count, and measure medications accurately.
  • Assist pharmacists with price-checking and restocking medications.
  • Access, input, and retrieve prescription information through computerized systems.
  • Refer physician inquiries and medical questions directly to the pharmacist.
  • Uphold the hospital’s mission and guiding principles in daily work.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current Indiana Pharmacy Technician license (no trainees accepted).
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification preferred.
  • Experience with sterile and non-sterile compounding.
  • Recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience is required.
  • Proficient in using Pyxis systems and familiarity with Wellsky software.
  • Reliable, strong work ethic, and committed to a long-term career in inpatient pharmacy.
