Pharmacy Tech - Lakeside, Arizona

A temporary opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacy Technician to support a 100-bed nonprofit hospital by covering a maternity leave starting mid-May. This contract role offers the potential to transition to permanent employment after 13+ weeks. The ideal candidate will have inpatient pharmacy experience and be flexible with scheduling.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and dispensing medications accurately within an inpatient hospital pharmacy setting
• Support pharmacy operations including medication inventory management and documentation using Allscripts and Omnicell systems
• Collaborate with pharmacy and healthcare teams to ensure timely patient medication delivery
• Comply with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona
• Experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy environments preferred
• Proficient with pharmacy automation and electronic systems such as Allscripts and Omnicell
• Ability to adapt to varying shift schedules and maintain reliability
• Strong attention to detail and customer service skills

Schedule Options:

• 7 days on, 7 days off (night shift)
• Four 10-hour shifts, 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
