A pharmacy technician opportunity is available to support a 100-bed nonprofit hospital during a maternity leave. This role offers a contract position starting mid-May, with the potential to transition to permanent after 13+ weeks. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and prepared to travel for this assignment located in Lakeside, AZ.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with inpatient pharmacy operations in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Utilizing Allscripts and Omnicell systems to manage medication dispensing and inventory
- Collaborating with pharmacy staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery of medications
- Adhering to hospital protocols and patient safety standards
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician license
- Demonstrated inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
- Proven ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to schedule changes
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Schedule Options:
- Option 1: 7 nights on, 7 nights off (night shift)
- Option 2: Four 10-hour shifts per week, 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM
