Travel Pharmacy Technician - Lancaster, OH

A full-time pharmacy technician position is available to support an independent retail pharmacy for approximately eight weeks. This opportunity requires a reliable professional who can step in immediately to maintain smooth pharmacy operations due to staff injury.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter and fulfill prescription orders
• Verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness
• Handle pharmacy phone inquiries professionally and efficiently
• Collaborate closely with the pharmacist to ensure patient safety and satisfaction

Desired Qualifications:

• Active pharmacy technician license in Ohio
• Experience in retail pharmacy or a similar setting
• Familiarity with PioneerRX software is a plus but not mandatory
• Willingness to work as a traveler or local candidate

Location & Schedule:

• Located about one hour south of Columbus, in Laurelville, OH
• Full-time hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Approximately 130 prescriptions processed daily
• Support team consists of one pharmacist and one pharmacy technician

This is a travel assignment designed to cover an urgent staffing need. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability and a commitment to maintaining high standards of pharmacy service during this eight-week period.
