A retail pharmacy specializing in HIV/AIDS medication is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join their team on a contract basis in Las Vegas, NV. This role involves supporting patients and healthcare providers with compassion and professionalism within a focused specialty pharmacy setting.
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Job Type: Contract (4-6 weeks, with potential extension)
Shift: Monday – Thursday, 8-hour shifts
Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense HIV/AIDS and other medications in a retail pharmacy environment
- Provide exceptional patient care and support, ensuring clear communication and adherence to therapy
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers to coordinate patient treatment plans
- Maintain punctual and consistent attendance with a positive, professional attitude
- Operate pharmacy software efficiently, preferably QS1, to manage prescriptions and records
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current Pharmacy Technician license valid in Nevada
- Minimum of 1 year working experience in a retail pharmacy setting
- Experience dispensing HIV/AIDS medications is required and must be clearly noted on the resume
- Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software preferred
- Strong communication skills with patients and healthcare providers
- Demonstrated reliability and commitment to daily attendance
- Ability to work independently, potentially without a pharmacist technician assistant
