Per Diem Pharmacy Technician in Las Vegas, NV

A retail HIV/AIDS specialty pharmacy is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician for a per diem position in Las Vegas, NV. This role requires a dedicated professional to support pharmacy operations with a focus on patient care and communication. The position offers a full-time schedule and an opportunity to engage with a unique patient population in a supportive environment.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Duration:

• Starting ASAP
• Expected length: 4 to 6 weeks, with possibility to extend

Key Responsibilities:

• Process low volume prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Perform data entry related to prescription orders and patient information
• Assist in filling and dispensing medications with precision, emphasizing HIV/AIDS specialty medications
• Maintain high levels of communication with patients and healthcare providers
• Provide exceptional patient support and demonstrate a positive, reliable work ethic

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Nevada Pharmacy Technician license
• Experience with HIV/AIDS medication dispensing strongly preferred
• Proficiency with QS1 pharmacy software is highly desirable
• Exceptional communication skills, both with patients and medical providers
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
