Travel Pharmacy Technician - Laurelville, OH

This full-time Pharmacy Technician role is a travel assignment lasting approximately 8 weeks, located in Laurelville, OH, about one hour south of Columbus. The position begins immediately to cover for a staff member unable to work due to injury. This opportunity offers hands-on experience in a busy independent retail pharmacy environment processing around 130 prescriptions daily.

Location:
Laurelville, OH (Independent/Retail pharmacy setting)

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurate order entry and medication fulfillment
• Verifying prescription details in coordination with the pharmacist
• Managing phone inquiries professionally and promptly
• Maintaining organized workflow in a small pharmacy team of one pharmacist and one technician

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Pharmacy Technician License in Ohio required
• Experience in retail pharmacy or a closely related field preferred
• Previous use of PioneerRX software is beneficial but not mandatory
• Ability to adapt quickly to the pharmacy’s workflow and team dynamics
• Available for immediate start and able to commit to an approximately 8-week period
