Travel Pharmacy Technician - Laurelville, Ohio

An independent retail pharmacy in Laurelville, OH, is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to provide essential support for approximately 8 weeks while their current technician recovers from an injury. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed technician with retail experience who can step in quickly to maintain smooth pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately entering medication orders and processing prescriptions
• Verifying prescription details and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations
• Assisting pharmacists in daily workflow to support patient care
• Managing phone inquiries and providing excellent customer service

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Ohio Pharmacy Technician license required
• Prior experience in retail pharmacy or a similar setting
• Familiarity with PioneerRX system is a plus, but not mandatory
• Ability to start immediately and commit to the full duration of the assignment

Schedule and Location:

• Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (40 hours per week)
• Location: Laurelville, Ohio, about one hour south of Columbus
• Prescription volume around 130 per day with a small, focused team of one pharmacist and one technician
