Per Diem Pharmacy Tech - Leesburg, Virginia

A retail pharmacy is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician for per diem coverage from June 22nd through July 11th. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience using the PioneerRx system and an interest in expanding their skills in both prescription processing and compounding within a supportive retail environment.

Location:

• Leesburg, VA (with service in Broadlands, VA)

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Sundays: Closed

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter and fill prescriptions using the PioneerRx system
• Assist the Pharmacist with daily pharmacy operations
• Perform non-sterile compounding tasks; comprehensive training provided June 22nd–24th
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies and procedures to ensure patient safety

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail setting
• Proficiency with PioneerRx software is required and must be demonstrated
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly during the initial training period
